Jerad Armijo produces utterly beautiful images, and words to match. His chromesthesia leads him to create otherworldly, desolate and surreal scenes that are quite striking in their simplicity. His images will be appearing in our next issue of Len’s Journal.

Len says: “My first encounter with Jerad was listening to Matt Payne’s podcast, ‘F stop, collaborate and listen’. Listening to Jerad talk about his work sent me racing to see it. As soon as I saw it I was instantly mesmerised. The incredible colour pallet he uses in is work is mind blowing. He tells us he is getting better at showing us the colour palette he sees when he listens to music. Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon. His artworks sing with incredible colour harmonies and such soothing pastels. Whilst we were choosing the work for this issue it came to light that he is also a poet and in this issue we are so pleased to include his poetry that accompanies each image. I loved his work so much I asked Clair to make Len’s Journal a few more pages longer to accommodate them all. Mesmerising work Jerad, truly mesmerising.”

Jerad, your work is always an inspiration.
