introducing: Paul Kenny
Paul Kenny is from the UK and has been developing his craft over the last fifty years. As with many of our previous featured artists, Paul is inspired by coastal areas and the shorelines. He looks for the awe-inspiring and we can certainly say that he has found it and delivers it right back to the viewer. We are so inspired by his work and are honoured to feature a selection in the next issue of Len’s Journal.
Len says: “Paul’s gorgeous artworks have been delighting me for years. One of my favourite motifs has been a circle in a square, and it was with great delight to find another artist exploring such incredibly fascinating shapes. I find it fascinating that you don’t really know how each is made. Discovering some of his techniques only expands ones readings of the artworks. His work is Rothkoesque, in exploring such simple shapes with incredible colour relationships. The colours speak volumes. Absolutely mesmerising. His work is in my absolute favourites list. Paul is rightfully considered a world leader in Abstract and Conceptual photography. I am very proud to be publishing this work. This collection will no doubt enthrall all those that indulge in their beauty. Make sure you subscribe as the last issue sold out only a week after we posted the subscriptions out.”
