introducing: Jane Sheers

It is so exciting to start the new year announcing the photographers who will be featuring in our next issue of Len’s Journal.

Jane Sheers is an Australian photographer who constantly delights us with her photographic artworks, and they truly are works of art. Her work will be appearing in our next issue of Len’s Journal.

Len says: “I was so lucky as to spend a week in the Snowy Mountains with Jane a few years ago. It was at the start of the Pandemic and the snowy mountains were still quiet pre-skiing season. Jane and I shared wonderful moments photographing twigs beside the road together. Jane is like that, she can get totally mesmerised in the most obscure details, and from them show us a new world, or create a fascinating artwork. Jane shines at creating artworks that intrigue and engulf the viewer. They deserve to be seen. Whilst this series is but just one of a huge body of work that is incredibly beautiful. Here she asks us so many questions in her work, rather than trying to give us answers. As you contemplate her work, our inner dialogue is running at full pelt trying to comprehend. It is such a pleasure to introduce you to her amazing work. I do hope we can feature her again in a future issue.”
