David Tanner is in Northumberland, in the north of England. He likes to concentrate on photographing his local rural environment focusing on the lesser seen views and subjects.

Len says: “I have been mesmerised with David’s work for a few years now. Each series he shows an intimate relationship with his local landscape. After experiencing them I feel his deep connection with a sense of place. I feel like I have been there now. Always working in a gorgeous monochrome pallet, I get lost in his gentle walks, and feel like I am being guided along the way with details of rich history.”

David’s work captures beautifully the landscape around him. We are pleased to be featuring his series of farmland images in our next issue of Len’s Journal.

Len’s Journal, Volume 2 Issue 3, is due for publication in August 2022.
