introducing: Oltea Sampetrean

Oltea Sampetrean is a Japanese photographer that looks beyond the everyday, seeking unusual connections. A background in medicine and science brought into play with each image created.

Len says: “Oltea’s delicate work above is intentionally reminiscent of the traditional Japanese screen. I can just imagine this beautiful piece in my house as functional work of art. Yet here in these these artworks this thought is derived from the design. Ethereal and poetic describe these works perfectly. Oltea’s artworks have been capturing my attention for a long period of time now. I am mesmerised at their delicacy and beautiful use of space and time. They have an esoteric quality for me”.
