Carcoar historic town photography escape 2023

The 2023 “Len’s Escape” tours are taking us all over NSW this year. In September we will be heading inland, past the Blue Mountains, for a change of scenery. The historic town of Carcoar is a photographer’s delight. After a 258km trip from Sydney you will be rewarded with a plethora of 19th-century buildings including the old railway station. It may also provide opportunity for some night sky and astro-photography.

Dates: 18th to 22nd September 2023

Location: Carcoar, NSW, Australia

This is a very small group boutique tour where Len will guide you around the best spots. It is a flexible tour that allows you to dictate the pace and preferred locations so you can make the most of the area and come away with photos you love.

On this trip you will spend hours photographing with Len at your side. You can ask him questions, see how he works and find out his tips for shooting around this area. He will be on hand to help push you creatively and answer those questions that have been bugging you while you are out in the field together. Later, there is time for feedback on your images and discussions to facilitate learning.

Accommodation and meals are provided so all you need to do is immerse yourself in your photography and enjoy the company of like-minded photographers.
