Jeff Gardner is a Canadian photographer who is noticing a change in his local environment which points to possible future warming. For now, he treats us to a set of images that give us a taste of a cold winter landscape with a delightful dusting of snow.

Len says: “Jeff’s series is mesmerising. I so love the winter colour palette he has chosen. I can really feel the snow melting, the plants poking up after a cold season and that spring will soon be on its way. As I wander through his series I am taken on a dream like journey of memories. Perhaps it has been too long since I spent a season in the snow, or is it that Jeff really has created something that truly moves me. My memories of the snow are mine, the artwork only acts as a trigger. We are left knowing that his skill as a photographer in creating a meaningful series is well honed. This is a truly beautiful and moving series that we are so honoured to include in this issue.”
