introducing: Jan Pearman

Jan is a New Zealand based photographer who often finds her inspiration close to home on the local beach. Who would have thought that something simple such as seaweed could be so interesting. Jan’s creations are captivating.

Jan is working on an exhibition of this beach. We wait with bated breath for her exhibition to unfold.

Len met Jan when she joined an Abstract Photography Workshop in 2019 at Port Stephens that he was running with Shirley Steel. In the years in between she has been a very active member of Len’s Club, and Len has had the pleasure of mentoring her in the time since. They say it is hard to find a good teacher, but it is even harder to find such a dedicated student.

Len says: it has been a blessing to watch Jan blossom with her work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
