introducing: Hazel Hewlett-Smith

Hazel Hewlett-Smith is well-travelled, after leaving England to settle in Brisbane, Australia. She shares with us her love of flowers as she connects with the character of each that she photographs.

Len says: “Hazel masterfully shows us the beauty of flowers, rendered in gorgeous monochrome. Robert Mapplethorp would have looked upon these with enjoyment and wonderment, for they are as equally as arresting as his beautiful flowers. Hazel shares with us these beautiful flower series reminding us and her of home”.
