Chris is a photographer based in the UK. He gives us permission to be dark, abstract and to break free from conventional expectations so often imposed on photography. We are delighted that his work will be appearing in our third issue of Len’s Journal.

Len says: “Getting to know Chris through his work has been a great experience. He sent us a huge pile of these incredible daisy photographs taken during the UK lockdown last year. He publishes a series daily. Showing us his thinking, his creating, and his process by sharing so much. When we all love different ones, why not share more. Through this greater examination of his work, my own practice shifted. I am so grateful. His work inspires so many abstract photographers around the world, just as it inspires me. This photograph gives us a glimpse into his yard, his monochromatic creations, and tempts us to look further. It is so wonderful to get the support of such greats in photography with our humble publication. Affirmation that we are on the right track with it.”
