Jul 31 Happy National Tree Day from Jodi Rose

Hello, I hope you are well. Happy Australian National Tree Day!

Today we are celebrating the release of Our Love Affair with Trees, the new book by Jodi Rose and Len Metcalf. The book presents impressions from artists, botanists, recreational gardeners, entrepreneurs, nurses, children and more. These reflections are interspersed with lovingly composed photographs of dancers and trees, to further explore the interdependence between humankind and our beautiful leafy counterparts.

Designed and produced by Len’s Journal. Len Metcalf is renowned as a leading Australian photographic educator and landscape photographer. His unique vision of nature and the human body presented in this book complements my personal interviews with 20 people around the world who have expressed the sacred role of trees and nature in their lives.

So, we decided to start the life of the book by creating a limited edition of beautifully designed hardback books. These are available at:

If you wish to order a copy, the cutoff date for pre-ordering is 31 August. Postage is calculated at checkout based on weight. When you purchase a book you can choose to have it posted to you, picked up from Len's studio, or at our official launch in October (date and location to be announced soon).
