Autumn’s here
Autumn has arrived. And isn’t so beautiful. I so love the change of seasons. Even though it was such a mild summer here, I am relived to be moving into my favourite time of year.
I find that I am way more creative in the cold. Summer is for sleeping and resting. Recovering from winter. Winter is for activity to get warm and stay warm. Whether it’s inside working on your post processing or outside like me running around shooting.
I spent a morning with Cyan at Mount Wilson before the Anzac weekend. But I still haven’t downloaded the images. So these are from last year’s Abstract Retreat at Leura. We are going this year again but in spring.
You had better hurry as the leaves are falling and you’ll soon be only left with a few leaves on the trees. The colour will be blown away.
On the sad side I managed to sprain my ankle four kms into an overnight walk with Cyan. I strapped my ankle up and walked out. By the time I got home I was struggling to walk on it. A week staying off it sees most of the pain go and can now walk again. A few more days then I’ll be strengthening it I think. This coming week sees me at Narooma with Peter Eastway. So I’ll have some more work and stories to tell you.
