Exhibition

You are invited to the Len’s School End of Year Exhibition.

The opening is on the 17th December between 6 & 8 pm.

The show is open from Tuesday 17th - Sunday 22nd December 2019. At Tap Gallery, 259 Riley Street Surry Hills. 12 pm - 6 pm each day.

Monday is our hanging day, so if you needed to visit late that afternoon that would work too.

The work is all triptychs. They represent each student’s favourite set of work throughout our year together. I say ‘favourite’ as I may have persuaded some into exhibiting some that weren’t thier favourites.

I am printing an exhibition today. Print after gorgeous print rolls out of my printer. They are for the Len’s School end of year student exhibition. Three of my classes are showing thier work. This years Master Class will be taking over the large space at Tap Gallery, while two Focused Lens groups will fill the smaller Red Room.

Watching them as they emerge from the printer is awe inspiring. They are so beautiful. Lots more to do yet. I think there will be over 50 works of art.
The framed prints will be for sale at very reasonable prices, so it’s a great time for that last minute shopping before the festive season.

I will have some work and merchandise for sale there too.

I will be at the exhibition while it is open. It will be a perfect time to catch up, discuss photography and learning photography.

I am also preparing for the Abstract Photography Workshop at Port Stephens that kicks off next week. Another sold out year. So you can expect some Abstract Work in your inbox soon.

This one is from a few years ago, where I was playing with more realistic work. Perhaps this year I might make more headroom into pure abstract work. I want to keep working on my Rapsody in Blue series and my Brush & Ink series. I was inspired by Mike Parr’s exhibition at the Carriage Works that I saw on Saturday.
