Simplify

Tonight we were looking at a bunch of photographs we loved and analysing why we liked them so much.  One resounding answer was their simplicity.

The photographs that consistently captured our attention were so simple, that we were in awe of how the photographer had captured them so well.

One thought was about what you leave out.  Another was the importance of composing the negative space.  Clear subjects rated highly.

Looking for ways to simplify becomes crucial to your success.

Today we started another monochrome weekend.  A lovely group of photographers and a gorgeous location to explore together. As always, I can’t wait to see where we go photographically.
