Sepia once more

Sepia once more

It has been a colourful year for Len’s Journal and it is time for a change… back to sepia next year!

Len loves to experiment, to try new techniques, new cameras, new lenses, so for our first issue of 2024 we will feature a new series of his work. Although we are back in the comforting realms of sepia, the images themselves are wholly experimental. In this series you will join Len as he excitedly discovers that his camera can be used as a paint brush to glorious effect.

These images were taken by Len on his recent Abstract Workshop. I’ve often heard him remark that once he is happy the students are settled and progressing with their own work, he suddenly finds his own images flowing. Normally around Thursday evening. So, here we have the results of a Thursday evening ramble around the headland after everyone else had gone to dinner (and a very early Friday sunrise)!
