Abstract Workshop at Leura

Shirley Steel and I are working on the final details of our next abstract photography retreat at the Old Leura Diary right now. We are so excited about this workshop as we feel it’s a step up from our previous ones and a perfect extension.

It will be the perfect environment to work on artworks that talk to each other to create a meaningful body of work.

Valda Bailey will be one of our guest lecturers / artists on this unique opportunity. Whilst zoom isn’t the best way to meet someone and see their work it is undoubtedly rather wonderful that we can have one of the worlds leaders in abstract photography talk to us personally during our workshop. She won’t be the only guest speaker as we will immerse you in amazing artists whilst you are in the City of the Arts.

It has been sold out for many months, but unfortunately we have had two cancellations due to travel restrictions and COVID. So we are able to announce we have two spots now available. As the workshop is so close you’ll have to pay the full fee to book in. As we are currently collecting the fees from all the other participants.

A live in full immersion experience. Be spoiled with luxury accommodation, all meals, and wonderful people in a stimulating environment. We picked the dates specifically for the famously beautiful autumn colours in the Blue Mountains.

These two spots won’t last long so please hurry if it’s for you. Further details are available at our website. https://www.lensschool.com/workshops-tours/the-leura-retreat
