Normal

I am reminding myself that ‘normal’ is a setting on a clothes dryer and not a reality in life.

I don’t believe we will return to the same life we had before this started. It will have changed us and the world inexplicably as the waves reverberate throughout the world.

I am not enjoying the rhetoric, ‘when things return to normal’. We won’t return to what was. We will have changed, personally and as a society, both locally and globally.

Today is today… and we must try to make the most of it for ourselves and for those around us.

Will go for another long walk, and spend some time with my own work just for me. I have been thinking of colour. It’s rather lovely, after so long with such hatred.

Amazing it took such a jolt to bring it out. I do wonder how long it will last for? Not that it matters. Follow your emotions and work Len, that’s the advice I’d give myself if I was my own student. Follow your interests and emotions. Your intuition will guide you.
