Launching Len's Journal our quarterly print magazine
I am so pleased to announce that we are launching Len’s Journal today.
A quarterly print journal dedicated to creative photography.
Len’s Journal is intentionally filled with stunning photographs whilst is light on words. Because the photographs matter the most.
It is a limited edition magazine, with each issue printed specifically for our subscribers. Each individual magazine will be numbered and embossed with my studio symbol. This means that as the magazine grows in popularity each issue will grow in value.
Editions will be limited to subscribers, with only a few extra copies to be made available in our retail outlets.
Printed here in Australia by Momento Pro, it is of the highest print quality we can find. It is 210 mm x 210 mm printed on a gorgeous matte paper with a perfect bound soft cover. Each issue is 60 pages.
One of defining features is that the works of photographic art contained within each issue are always a cohesive and resolved series designed to be showcased together. This isn’t a magazine with lucky one off photographs.
In our first issue we have portfolios by:
Mark Littlejohn, one of UK’s most prominent landscape photographers, and one of Len’s personal favorite photographers of the English woodland.
Shirley Steel, graces us with a gorgeous series of images from Moroco
Jan Pearman shares here incredible seaweed creatures from New Zealand
Clair Reynolds shows us the beauty with her infra red flowers
Len Metcalf, yes me, I share with you the romantic series ‘Mystique’ that was exhibited in Europe with Hans Strand, Art Wolfe and Jack Dynkiga at the Art of Wild Gallery
Only subscribers to Len’s Journal will get each issue.
Subscriptions close for our first issue on the 8th April which is less than three weeks away. So if you are interested in owning your copy of our inaugural issue then you will need to act fast.
