Snow

Am in the snow for a couple of weeks. Am so excited to be skiing again. You forget how much you love things sometimes. I think it has been a few years since I last skied. Cyan is having fun learning to telemark. Today we are off into the backcountry. Will ski that mountain in that photo. It’s Mt Tate. I first skied up there when I was 18. Derek Lucas took me up there. I have been up there many times since. The last was with Cyan when we walked Kiandra to Thredbo last summer.

What joyous things did you used to do?

Actually on second look that’s Guthega Trig, Mt Tate rises to the left, you can just catch the ridge to it… I camped in that photo with Cyan, in the snow ten years ago now.
