introducing: Lucie Averill

Lucie Averill is based in Cornwall, UK, capturing the changing landscape around her. With vast seacapes and intimate landscapes there is a lot to love about Lucie’s work. We were immediately drawn to her beautiful reflections and boats.

Len says: “Lucie explores the harbour with her reflections. A study continued over many years. Projects take time. Sometimes we consciously choose them, and at other times they choose us. It is indeed a patient artist that returns over and over to chase that elusive photograph, hoping to catch that beautiful dance of colour on the water. I love that she asks the question about the stories that each boat could tell.”
