Everglades
A few photographs that remind me of lithographs I used to do about forty years ago at art school. Sometimes I get an etching look and others a lithograph look.
Yesterday Liz had a gorgeous photograph of the Everglades in the Lens Club landscape focus discussion. It often happens when I see a photograph of a place I know and love it triggers something deep in me. Hers looked pictorialist. I knew the exact spot so well.
These are taken at the Everglades too on the same wet, misty autumn day. We were blessed with the most gorgeous mist for our Leura Abstract Retreat this year.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Sometimes the joy is in the making. Here I am taken back to a beautiful day whilst being in the flow with other creatives to share it with. I imagine they will mean something different to you. For art is like that isn’t it. It speaks to us all so differently.
