ISO Escape to the Snowy Mountains

Well, I am so excited as I am off to the Snowy Mountains in a weeks time for our first ISO Escape. I love it down there, as it reminds me of the times I lived there, taught cross country skiing, telemarking, took groups snow camping and skied at every possible spare moment. I didn’t really see a summer for a few years, as I chased winter overseas in the northern hemisphere.

It is such a rich and diverse landscape. I am in awe of snow gums. They are such beautiful and magnificent trees. The colours in their bark are so delicious and delightful visually. Actually they are nice to touch as well.

I have now run a few workshops and tours down there, one in the northern section and a couple in the main section. White on white is such a romantic notion to photograph. Snow. Fresh gorgeous snow sprinkled across the landscapes.

Plenty of mist on the lakes too.

There are places on this trip if you’d like a last minute get away. All inclusive Monday to Friday. Come and photograph with me as your guide and mentor. I know I need to get out with my camera and I am so excited to do so.
