Purple

I struggle with liking a photograph of weeds in bloom in a stunning national park. Despite them being my favourite colour.

The Flinders Ranges were covered in them that particular year. It was beautiful and distressing at the same time.

A tree burnt from a fire. Such devastation fires bring.

Perhaps this photograph is filled with sadness, yet sprinkled with beauty. You can have both I reflect to myself.

I have to teach today. What a blessing. Something positive to do for others. Len’s Club is providing meaning to the physical distancing. Social distancing is so the wrong word isn’t it. It’s beautiful that people are coming together to help each other. There is beauty in this sadness. Look for it. Hang onto it. It may be the thread that gets you through.
