A different approach to starting something new is to actively finish one of those projects that you started. Do you have a pile of unfinished projects that you’d like to finish?
Obviously some are unfinished because we lost motivation, others because the project didn’t have legs, or because it wasn’t as good as we were imagining. But what about those ones that are still great projects that we just ran out of time to do?
It seems like the perfect time to finish something, that you’d love to finish, right now.
If something jumps to the surface of your mind, and gets to the top of the list, well why not start back on it.
If you are like me, and your list of creative projects that remain unfinished is just huge. Why not write them down on a list and see which one gets moved to the top with the start now priority.
For the photographers reading this a real simple project is to revisit old photographic trips or works and hunt for undiscovered master pieces. Hide your rating system to avoid pre judging them. If you were on a trip with others then share these new finds with them and reconnect with lost friendships.
I have to get back to Len’s Club.

I thought I’d revisit one of my most productive workshops and classes of last year. It was the spring masterclass in the Blue Mountains. I miss that class. We had a few great days afterwards, gardens, gardens and gardens. Anyway I thought a touch of colour with a dogwood from that trip. Photograph and text copyright © Len Metcalf 2020
