Online Bookmaking Workshop 2024

If you are looking to learn to do something creative this year, or are simply interested in finding a new way to share and display your photos then join Len and Shirley to learn how to make books!

Handmade books are a beautiful way to present your own photographs and can be a work of art in its own right.

For Shirley, her love of bookmaking has grown with her love of photography. She says, “making books for me now is a significant part of my workflow and the way I resolve my images. Each book may not be high end, it may be small and imperfect, but it is my work and it is on a bookshelf somewhere to be picked up and leafed through. It is the most accessible way I can share my prints or future proof my work.”

Len and Shirley will cover all aspects of making your own books, from design and layout, paper selection, tools required and how to put it all together. They will also cover how to make your own books online using software provided by photobook printing companies.

This will add a new dimension to your photography and is a great way to get those wonderful photos, that are hidden away on your hard drive, out to share with others.
