Judy Warburton is a local photographer based here in Sydney, Australia. We are pleased to feature her work in our next issue of Len’s Journal, volume 4 issue 4.

Len says: “I have been infatuated with Judy’s creative art for many years. I remember when she started drawing on top of her images, and am in no way surprised that she has turned to photogravure to work in currently. Did you know it is also my favourite way of printing? There is nothing better than hand applying the ink onto an intaglio plate with your fingers, and polishing it off with your palm, before pulling the print on an etching press. When you look closely at the reproductions in Len’s Journal, you can clearly see the plate marks, an easy clue to its unique way of being made. I hope you find these artworks as interesting as I do”.
