It has been very quiet here on the writing and posting photographs front hasn’t it. It’s not because I have been idle. I have been putting a huge amount of energy into running Len’s Club, writing and presenting fresh content, and the inevitable marketing.
Starting an online school is a huge endeavour and my hats are off to all the teachers and educational organisations that pulled it off recently. Luckily mine isn’t a forced one, but one that has been in the making for a very long time. This helps it stand out in quality and being what I always wanted, which is an online learning community.
Running webinars where we discuss the members art works is proving so valuable. People are leaving feeling uplifted and inspired. As always, valuable lessons in how photographs work is ensured. I am finding them immensely full filling to facilitate.
The composition course rolls out steadily at one, one hour episode per week. I am so proud of it, and it is so lovely to record it live to Lens Club members on Tuesday evenings. The feedback so far is flattering and self efficacy building. I am working on tonight’s today. It is on the power of the centre of the artwork. This morning I went off on a beautiful tangent on how to centre ourselves, which I will also try to record tonight. This is for a wider audience than my usual photographers. For whom I seem to be known as ‘the photographers’ photographer’.
Members of Len’s Club are singing it’s importance to them. I am pleased. It seems to be clearly great value for money.
I have started presenting at camera clubs via webinars. It is so wonderful to present to a large audience. It is highly addictive. It opens up possibilities further afield than the local camera clubs I usually talk too. So if you are in a club far away from me and you’d love me to present to your club please reach out to me as I’d love too.
I have gotten back to my YouTube channel and have posted my first video there. It’s clearly for photographers, as it’s about keeping your photographs rather than deleting them.
This gives you an idea of some of the content I have been producing for Len’s Club. I will endeavour to add more, and some for non photographers too.

I am not sure when the daily inspirations will return to their irregular appearances. Hopefully soon. You just never know do you? That is part of their joy I hope. I will endeavour to manage at least one for the weekly newsletter in the meantime.
