I thought yesterday for April fools day of doing a post telling everyone I had given up on monochrome. That I was only going to post colour from now on. Then I thought about it.
I am not really in the mood for fooling people and I noticed relatively few in my social media feeds. So I am glad I didn’t from that perspective, besides I am not one for that sort of humour. Well rather irregularly.
Then I thought that posting a whole heap of my colour work might be lovely. Uplifting. I know my work is often quiet, gentle, and somewhat distant. It’s reflective I hope. It is for me.
So my April fools thought turned into something else. That’s how ideas and creativity work. You start with something, you start on it. I started on it by turning some of my work into colour. Thinking about it some more. Seeing where my thoughts go.
Finally arriving at an action, doing is the creating.
So some colour coming your way for a while to colour up our lives. I hope you enjoy.
