Our love affair with trees

"One touch of nature makes the whole world kin."

Georgia dances with a fig tree for Jodi Rose and myself for our upcoming book “Our love affair with trees”. We have been working on this since last year and are just starting to release some of the photographs to build some anticipation. We have included thoughts about trees from a wide cross section of the community. Still lots to do, more photographs to take and words to pen yet. We are aiming to have it ready at the end of the year.

Collaborations are beautiful. So lucky to be working on this one with Jodi. We met through photography. My photography has already appeared in two of her books. Initially in her late husbands book, Murray Rose, it was a gentle portrait of her. The second book has my trees, and is about the journey of palliative care with a loved one. Both are now out of print.

Through a photograph I continually make special friends. It’s amazing to think something as simple as a photograph can move others so much. Change worlds and inspire such deep communication and bonds.

I am indeed blessed with an interesting and fulfilling life that revolves around my art.
