Cute

Leaving for the Blue Mountains again today. Not before a eye check up and new glasses. I go through them at an horrendous rate. The last pair was driven over by Tess.

Tess is my Landcruiser, she just passed another rego check. And the mechanics keep telling me how much people seek that particular model out. She is nearing 700,000 kms now, and is nearly 25 years old. I bought her from State Rail and she had done 100,000 kms. Rego was free, which surprised me, I drive enough that it was covered in toll relief. I dream of selling her and getting an electric car.

I am really attached to Tess, she hadn’t broken down, is reliable beyond belief. She goes anywhere, in fact I get scared driving her in 4WD before she stops.

Keeping her is a mind game. Am I saving resources by not buying a newer car, or wasting them with diesel? I do try to walk, train or bus wherever I can.

This kangaroo was taken with a lens baby that I borrowed from Shirley Steel at the Abstract Workshop. I must buy my own this year. We have just one spot left if you are interested. https://www.lensschool.com/workshops-tours/abstract-photography-workshop-2019 It isn’t far away and I am very excited. Not very far along the scale of abstract is this little fella, but cute nether the less.
