Drawn

Every so often my work takes on a hand drawn feel.  It is so different to the painterly look that I strive for in the colour abstracts I have been working on lately.  I am searching for the right word to describe it.

Drawn

Sketched

Penciled

I know it’s not painterly.  For me it’s always monochrome, soft and gentle.  

Am I subconsciously striving for that hand drawn look of my youth that was spent with a pencil in hand and sketch pad on my knee.  Like most things, we circle back in life in our journey to getting somewhere new. 

So how do I describe them? Drawn? 

Thoughts or suggestions please?
