Figurative

Another stunning sunrise on Front Beach this morning at South West Rocks.  Today I am starting class with a video I found on abc iview last night called “Art with Mati and Dada”.  A great series I would love to have watched with my son when he was younger.  

Then we explore concepts such as the art Canon, painterly, gestural and figurative.  So here is my figurative art work from yesterday on the beach.  

Later I get to show the class my favourite abstract artists.  What a lovely day ahead.  

The best bit is being immersed and saturated with everyone’s gorgeous works of art we print and critique each day.  I sometimes wonder who learns more.
