White tail black cockatoos
It is my last day of my adventure and I wake up on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Yesterday I left Adelaide, an amazing bunch of very dear friends and yet again many wonderful experiences.
It has been a long trip with plenty of personal time to think and drive. To walk in beautiful places and to be immersed in a very different part of Australia. If you haven’t been to the southern part of Western Australia, well you must visit. The northern parts still await my visit on another trip.
I have been reminded how important family is. That years fly past and you wonder where they went. I wonder how I could let so many go past without visiting. Every time I think about it I get teary.
I pick up Cyan this afternoon, take him to basketball, his new love. Being the tallest in his age group is something that pays off well in his new sport. Then late tonight I finally make it home.
Eight weeks is a long trip. One I needed. I am so thankful for those that made it happen and the new friends I have made along the way.
Life is wonderful.
