introducing: Fiona Huddleston

Fiona Huddleston is an Australian photographer who has been moved to create beautiful photographic works, rather than just capturing them. Her cyanotypes are so much more than they seem and dive right into the soul of their subject.

Len says: “I have been lucky enough to watch Fiona’s photography grow over many years. I clearly remember the joy on her face when she sold out her first calendar at a Blue Mountains Art Fair with her delicate interpretation of water in the mts. In this series Fiona leaps ahead and finds something deeply personal inside her with these Cyanotypes. I love seeing the hand of the artist, and here we clearly see Fiona’s. They remind me of watercolours and lithographs, both mediums I am very close too. Whilst many of us know Cyanotypes as mearly Blue Prints, Fiona shows us that this old art form is still alive and well.”
