I can no longer remember what I have shared with you and what I haven’t. So I’ll apologise in advance if you notice an artwork that I have already shared. I wonder how many of you who read this today have been on my newsletter for the past fifteen years? I suspect that sharing some of those old images will be welcomed.

These are from the Abstract Workshop Shirley Steel and I ran at Port Macquarie a few years ago now. I love doing seascapes but magic seems to happen when I point my camera at some trees.

I am sure I have enough for an interesting book of them. Some poetry will go with them I think.

I am going to make sure we watch the sunset through the trees in our next abstract photography workshop at Myall Lakes. These photos work best for me when I am shooting directly into the sun.

I am so pleased that we are selling spots on this years abstract workshop. Plenty left if you’d like to join us. Second week of September 2024. It has a stay and play component for those that would like to stay longer and keep making art with us.
