Grand Canyon
Back at Royal North Shore Hospital with my mother. The hospital and the staff are so fantastic. We are so lucky it is our local hospital. She had some skin cancers removed from her legs, spent a week in hospital and now we are in every few days so the drs can keep an eye on how it’s recovering. They keep an eye on the skin graft to see that it’s taking and watch carefully over infections.
It’s amazing our public health care system. I can’t speak highly enough about it. Yes there are flaws, but considering some of the alternatives in other countries I am pleased to be living in Australia.
I get a skin cancer check up very regularly. Always they have been clear. The dr is always amazed because I have spent most of my life in the bush outside. I have tried to be careful with hats, sunscreen and long sleeves in both my pants and shirts. Oh and sunglasses particularly on the water or on sand. It really pays to look after yourself in the Australian sun.
You really don’t want to have a skin cancer removed. You will just have to believe us.
The first Composition Presentation went down well. Many people have written expressing thier gratitude. It’s amazing how motivating that is, as I have nearly finished preparing next Tuesday’s session. I am also speaking to camera clubs soon. We do our first webinar to a camera club on Tuesday. When that goes well, it suddenly opens up the possibility to speak at camera clubs around the world. It is really special speaking live to people. I can feel them listening. It makes me speak better. Perhaps it’s the adrenaline? It makes for better videos too.
