Study in Blue
Another workshop finishes. Albany was kind to us and proved fruitful yet again. Rain arrived late yesterday and today the wind is tenacious. Off to Dunsburough tomorrow to scout another Western Australia tour. Some time to enjoy a few well deserved days off before returning home. Originally I had two back to back workshops, which later merged to one. The rest is welcomed.
Am wondering if this will be part of the Rapsody in Blue series. Does it talk about water? Time will tell. It jumped out of my catalog the other day. I had taken it as one of the last photographs on the Hopetoun Workshop at one of the beaches in the Fitzgerald River National Park. It sits alone. The other multiple exposures taken at the same time bearing absolutely no resemblance at all. Now I am left thinking why didn’t I do more. And how did I do it? Can I do another?
Back to experimenting, testing and playing.
I really love the times I get into an abstract mode of working. Though it doesn’t happen as often or as for long as I would like. I get distracted by reality and monochrome way too easily.
I need to work on my next article for Better Photography today and I must get onto planning next year. It’s getting there.
