It’s been a very busy week. Cyan and I completed the Three Capes Track last week and had a great time. I am planning to write up a trip report of the experience. In a nutshell, fantastic, easy and luxurious. Hardly bushwalking.

Getting back was an uneventful long journey behind the wheel and a sleep on the ferry. Two days. I do love travelling.

Back in Sydney saw me leap into a two day private, the first prize in the Monochrome Section of the Focus Awards. It’s so lovely being with someone so dedicated to learning. Wanting to know. We photographed for two days in the Blue Mountains. Gently. Softly. Was delightful. Such lovely conversations between bouts of obsessive photography. Encouraging them to focus on meaningful personal projects rather than just good photographs. Helping them get from good to great I hope.

Today, I am trying to wade through my emails and to do list and finish that overdue article for On Landscape. Before another weekend with my Focused Lens group.

Busy to say the least. Am so excited about the trips coming up. Western Australia looms closer. Getting to see my sister, nephews and their families. Two workshops and a tour to run there.

I had better get back to it. Thank you for understanding the outage in the almost daily emails. The space has been appreciated.
